Stray Dogs Family told Shelter to JUST KEEP HER, then this happened..

She was so scared when I met her but thank you to this awesome community of dog lovers and Animal Friends of the Valley's she is on the next chapter of her journey.

Thank you for saving this dog. I used to run a rescue years ago and got no donations. I charged a lot of money to my credit cards and saved 70 dogs over time. But I couldn't do it anymore. It's nice to see more people nowdays helping animals out.

It's so tough seeing animals in a shelter, but it's a blessing to see them get a home. Especially dogs like this who are terrified. I can't wait to adopt my cat

This happened to one of the greatest dogs I've ever known. Her old owners didn't want her back because "she was too needy". It was the weirdest thing. We adopted her and were expecting she'd have separation anxiety like destroying furniture when left alone because what else could "too needy" mean for a dog.

But nope, she was amazing loving well behaved not the sharpest tool in the shed but just wanted to make everyone happy. She lived with us from 2 to 11 years old when she finally passed on. RiP Sweetie.

While I've never understood the line of thinking that says "we just don't want them anymore"....its just beyond amazing there are men and woman like Rocky who make it their lives mission to help animals like Penny who npt only want to be loved, but will give nothing but love and happiness in the future.
