As a Kay/0 main In my experience I’ve found him to be the most useful on split. Darts are easy to throw from cover for consistent suppress and with the map being very sentinel heavy on comps it’s takes the hardest part of attacking out of the way giving you a much easier time

I’m actually a Plat Kay/o main and personally I agree with basically all of these things, Kay/o is so underrated and if you learn how to use him with your team and can work well together, you’re team will be unstoppable

The reason I like Kay/o is because I can play valorant like it was CSGO. Which is a game I'm more familiar at. His flashes and Moli are like the flash and frag in CSGO.

I recently started to get into kayo. I'm originally a Skye main but I've been starting to use kayo on larger maps or when we already some sort of healer. The abilities are quite solid I think even for solo-queue. Great vid as it encourages me to use kayo even more now haha

I understand why kayo might be picked in bind cause of its small spaces and it's great with ascent cause of the small map but breeze sova is just better on breeze

I was actually pretty surprised from the fact that KAY/O was most used on Breeze, as I thought that was one of his weaker maps. KAY/O utilizes his spatial control a lot, because of the fact that he has abilities that can strip you off of your abilities. So because of this, I thought of KAY/O as a solid pick for Split and and Bind instead of Breeze and Ascent. Split and Bind are two of the best maps for KAY/O because of its tight corners. These corners allow KAY/O to really utilize his kit more, while also being a "Flex" type of character, because his ult has a much larger range that we might think. His ultimate has a range that (I think) completely covers A site Bind, so that alone can be a turning point for holding and entering site. KAY/O overall is one of the best counter characters for util heavy agents in this game as of the moment (KJ, Neon, Reyna, the enemies' KAY/O as well, and quite possibly Breach).

I am Skye main and I have been trying to play more Kayo on my rank games with mix results. I think that is a lot easier to get good usage of Skye utility than Kayo's. A lot of times you will knife and not surpress anyone or surpress an agent that doesnt need their abilities right away, while with Skye I feel like I always get something to work with, like clearing corners, finding traps/alarm bots, healing allies, etc. You also rarely get dmg from grenade, is very situational, or you just stall the enemy for a few seconds, which is nice on defending side. Overall in my experience Skye is more consistent, especially on the attacker side and the fact that her flashes refresh makes you use them more, getting better results (you have to be mindful with Kayo).

honestly the best map for kayo is haven mostly defense because there is a spot where kayo can throw his knife and if it scans them they going A or B but if it doesn't then they are going C
