I was building the Flite Test Edge 540 a year ago and used it heavily.
Now it is time to check the damage and the required repairs.
Also want to present some of my improvements to robustness and rigidity.

It's BEAUTIFUL! I too have added reinforcement to the motor mount and used a straw to guide the hatch fastening pin. Why don't the FliteTest guys do that? I've gone a different route with my latest FT Edge-540 tho: I've stripped off the interior paper from the wings and fuselage to make it a better, lighter 3d plane. Yours not doubt flies differently, but...we're after different things. Great video!

I built one of these. The motor mount was quite inadequate. After one crash I threw it away.
