The core of the Earth might have just stopped spinning and might be now reversing its direction of spin according to an international team of researchers. This finding was published in the journal Nature Geoscience and states that the globally consistent pattern suggests that inner-core rotation has recently paused. It further adds that the rotation might have surprisingly shifted to the opposite direction.

Well first off the earths core 3000kms deep not 5000...second if it's therorized it's happened before in 1979 then that was 44 years ago not every 35 years...and other sources say every 60 years...noone knows...and u would think that if the core starts spinning in another direction then the mantel and the crust would start to spin that way too...if it's the first time we recorded this then we can't say how often this happens...but it is said in history that every 10 000 years the earth switches it axis and this might be what we're seeing as we know our axis is shifting now and this may be how it does it

In 2040s, I will watch the news of the earth changing direction again and think of this video when while on my 20s then they will share more information about earth's core.
