FIX! NVIDIA Game Filter 'An Error Occurred. Please restart your game to use this feature.'

NVIDIA Game Filter "An Error Occurred. Please restart your game to use this feature." error is a frustrating one to troubleshoot. By complete accident I stumbled across the post below. Basically Star Wars Squadrons somehow breaks the NVIDIA Game Filter. The fix involves taking note of your current settings in NVIDIA Control Panel and restoring the settings to default.

Worked for me! Thank you! It was actually really easy on my end because my settings were default to begin with. So all I had to do was restore, apply, then play and the game filter worked.

Quick answer, click restore defaults under Mange 3D settings in the NVidia control panel.

Thanks so much man! I have spent hours trying to figure out why my NVIDIA Ansel wasn't working and this fixed it as well! As someone who is constantly taking screenshots it was hard for me to go several months without knowing what the issue was! Before I found this video the current fix I had found was to install an earlier version of the game ready graphics driver, but this solution is much easier!

So I did this and then tried ALT-F3 and same error.. I restarted the game tried again and boom. Works.. thank you. Been trying to wrap my head around this for a few hours.
