Bro you are actually the MVP. My shadowplay won't do anything, won't screenshot, won't record, won't instant replay. I wasn't so sure this is the fix for me, but I tried it anyway. I was having an issue with my ZBrush Alt + Z hotkey, then realized it was a bigger issue than just for ZBrush since even trying to open the GeForce Overlay wouldn't work. Every other vid was saying "restart GeForce" but you saved me, never would have figured this out. You saved my work even beyond GeForce and I wanted to make sure you knew that, genuinely thank you.

Still works for the 2015-2022 version. it's just 2022 instead of 2019 for the file names

I am running Windows 11 Beta and the file I have 2015-2022 I right click repair and rebooted and it worked! Cheers

I was starting to get desperate. Tried a handful of other fixes, but nothing worked.
In my case, I simply repaired the visual C++ redist package from the programs view (did not additionally download or run anything) and then restarted. Instant Replay and Record both now work.
Maybe because it's a few years since you posted, or maybe it's because I'm on windows 11, but the naming was slightly different: "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable".
