Haha, I was here in this video. Do you remember the 2020 Grey Honda Civic Type R that broke down. I am the drivers son! LOL. We was on holiday and all your crew helped push it.

6 months ago I bought a Toyota starlet, 85hp but weighs about 110kg less than that Yaris, good fun and only cost me £1000, no rust 68, 000 miles

My experience of the my Yaris T Sport (5 door facelift) has been overall brilliant, especially considering it's nearly 20 years old. Absolutely no major rust whatsoever, just the odd bit of surface rust, the engine is bulletproof too, 70k miles and it is absolutely not showing any signs of age whatsoever. In terms of how it drives, it's a very fun little car, takes corners effortlessly and I totally agree with u about the gearbox, absolutely smashing!
At first, I disagreed with your statements on the power delivery, but no. I had the AC condenser replaced, and some other AC related stuff, and it noticeably has more poke, and it seriously does pull hard even at high revs. Before it felt anaemic above 5.5k rpms, now it still pulls above 6k.
I'm chuffed to bits a viral content creator like u has acknowledged this car!

I’d love to see a Peugeot 207 GTI feature in one of these videos

I absolutely love to rev that little vvt-i. My mom had that car for 14 years and I bought it from her. Over km and still going strong.

The sliding rear seats are a game changer 😅

Fiat Panda 100HP needs to be part of the conversation. I reckon it's better than the Yaris, very similar ptw, better looks, better sound, corners better too. I might be biased though as I've got one...

Lift off oversteer is a rather prominent danger on these models. I have driven many hatchbacks, but this platform is the only one that loves throwing it's back around. Had it happen on two different models, despite not driving agressively.

Cool car and lightweight obviously taking notice of Colin Chapman’s design principal and practical. Love it 👌

Amazing car, reliable. Cheap. I have usual 1.0L version, 167 000km on the odo, but with AC, electrical windows, central remote locking and rear disc brakes (bought for $1500).

Can confirm, proper little underdogs in the right hands and especially with the right handling mods. Mine beats quite a few quicker cars on track 😅

It’s great bc the old head enthusiasts haven’t priced these out too much cos they are embarrassed to drive in .

I very very nearly bought one. Then I decided fuck it and bought a GR Yaris instead. Both amazing cars

I've always had a soft spot for these

Gotta love sending the smaller cars round B-roads. I've fond memories of nearly writing the fabia off while flying over Rivi with you chasing me in the C1 lol

Same recipe as the Suzuki ignis sport and you used to be able to get them cheap, so caj definitely see these doing the same.

I like these cheap hot hatch videos, it would be cool to see a mazda 2 and some other budget hot hatches reviewed especially for younger drivers

Do me a favour try the yaris sr 1.8 with 130hp. My mate used to have one of those, reckons it went toe-to-toe with a Swift Sport and even bested some Fabia VRS

Nice video. I imagine you'd like the panda 100 and r50 mini for similar power to weight ratios & fun NA power. I think theres a sub class called 'warm hatches' that describe these cars perfectly. For the same money I'd rather an r53 supercharged mini but you'd defintiely not have the same reliability.

I’d say the best value Hot Hatch was the Saxo VTR me and my friend got for £400 haha! Was a fun little car that!
