I've got a 2016 GTI with that DSG. I also really love it. Not only is it super quick changing gears, but it gives you the best of both worlds. Fast, direct control of the gear change when you want to be sporty, automatic convenience when you don't. I love manuals, but using one in start-stop traffic during my commute gets annoying fast.

They should replace current F1 with Senna vs Prost in hot hatches. Would be much more fun.

Here in the US these cars are nearly gone except the Golf gti and R 4 doors. Sad days for my favorite car shape

He's so wrong about this golf, The EP3 Type R is a far superior 'Hot Hatch.' & you can add Boost to them if you want too if you spent the £4, 000 on a turbo kit instead of buying the golf..
PS. The K20 is the best 2.0L Engine ever made.
