My wife (cradle Orthodox) and I started watching through the film "Luther" (2003) last night and she asked me what indulgences are. She found it hard to believe that the Catholics could believe such a thing. What an appropriate video! Thanks.

Is it not the case that the Greek Orthodox Church had a practice comparable to the Catholic practice of indulgences?
