I like the way you push the limits.
We only live once, right .

I have run mine at 15s for 3 years.
Over 6k miles.
If you gear it at 54x9 I can get to nearly 50mph.
Violamart 1500w, shunt mod too

I made something like this to go from 48v > 52v. Used 5x 2.6ah 18650 in parallel to match my 13ah main battery. Result: bike is way faster and the "Boost" pack drains at the same rate as the main battery. I've added a 2a charging board so I can recharge the pack via usb :)

What are those additional cables on the 12V pack? is that balancing wires? I want to do the same thing with my jetson bolt pro, add a 12V 6Ah pack in series to the 36V 6Ah battery. I’m confused about adding balancing wires. does my stock battery have internal bms? because i only see the positive and negative cables and the connector for the charging port. And do you have to charge the 12V pack separately? Thanks

I can not see a BCM on the extra 12-volt pack you added ??
Also is it ok to add different voltage Packs in parallel

Sup guys hope y'all keeping well.. I have a bolt 48v 2000w conversion kit, it's running on a 48v 17.5ah battery and it's not enough for me, so I ordered 60v 40ah battery.. you think my controller will handle the new battery?

Here I am again with a few more questions...
I've been looking for a YouTube video that is a tutorial for electrical connectors....specifically, connectors used for ebikes and escooters. I've found nothing. Do you have a video or know of a video or source that I can go and educate myself.

Also, what's your opinion on lithium iron phosphate batteries? I'm considering getting some from Battery Hookup. My understanding is that they are safer, and have about 3 times the number of cycles. While they are less energy dense and cost more up front, in the long run, they are well worth it.

Also, I've been looking for Tesla cells, and while they are available, the going rate us about $1500 for the smaller battery pack. Is that what you had in mind? I haven't worked out the Watthour price yet. Do you know of a good source.? I live in Charlotte, NC.

Also, if there is just a connector kit that has it all and/or an easy source for all things battery building and whatnot, please point me in the right direction.

I always use Anderson cable, but I rarely heard of XT60 cable. Can XT60 cable handle high current? Good video my friend.

you should make a video about how you modded your ebike

Do you have any bms on that small pack or you just charge it raw?

You must be getting tired of my questions....
I'm going to get a bike conversion kit for my ex. I would get her the best if she hadn't slept with the football team, but I'm now working with a budget.

I would like to get a reasonably priced kit. Right now, I'm considering Ebikeling, Voilamart, and Bafang, but I am open to other options if you have suggestions.

I'm planning to use her 56v volt Ego battery to save money.

1. Do you have a conversion video for Ego like Kobalt?
2. Do you know what ebike conversion kits can handle the 56 volt battery?
3. If you don't have a DIY battery conversion for the Ego, do you have a recommendation from Amazon that will work well?
Thanks!

Hi! I'm considering buying an e-scooter that uses Fengchao battery cells. Despite all along thinking I would build a battery using Kobalt tool batteries, doing the math, their replacement battery pack is considerably less expensive.
60v, 31.5 ah battery is $600. New, using Kobalt batteries, it would be at least $1000. Any knowledge about Fengchao battery packs? I guess I could build my own, but I think that would be more expensive still. I haven't priced cells lately.... maybe the prices are less than I think. Do you have any advice? What's your preferred source to purchase affordable, reliable cells?

Is using a 12v batt with a 48v batt in series safe?

63V on capacitors is just an industry standard value. its been around since at least the 1980's long before Li ion batteries were around. after seeing the result athe extra battery just gets you back to where the original 48V system was. you get your 30% back. maybe its time to repack the 2 24V batteries with the Tesla model 3 cells ?

just wondering, where did you buy the tesla battery pack from?

Need to put a Tesla logo on your bike now.

You're just asking for a cell discharge! You need a BMS on that. Especially where you have that janky 12v pack added in like that. Very sloppy!
