Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time, and flung him into the future, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to the past and undo the future *that is Aku!”*


New Intro narration:

“Fifty years have passed, but I do not age. Time has lost its effect on me. Yet, the suffering continues. Aku’s grasp chokes the past, present, and future. Hope is lost. Gotta get back! Back to the past! *Samurai Jack!”*

The old intro felt like being a kid again, but the new intro makes me feel that I've grown up with Jack. Through all of his adventures & people he's met along the way. This show was so cool & still is to this day

I love how the fifth season of Samurai Jack has a different intro from it's first-four seasons with an art style redesign, no theme song (but only in the classic seasons of the show), and a darker and edgier tone while being aimed at teens and adults who were longtime and new fans of Samurai Jack that also watched the first-four seasons of the show as kids, which seasons 1-4 were rated TV-Y7-FV and more light-hearted.
