OMG... 3 months ago i though this is impossible... now it has become like second nature.. whatever you do guys keep practicing !!!!

EDIT: I didn't spent 3 months learning the C chord, i just accidentally re-watched the video after 3 months and then I was surprised why was i struggling with it at first let alone really believing it was impossible but practice can do wonders !!

Hi everyone. I am a beginner trying to learn while I am home in the lockdown. Several days ago I arrived at the G cord and really struggled with it. So instead of continuing with the frustration I moved to the C cord, this lesson. I tried Justin's recommendation of twisting my hand and really struggled for two days. Then one day I started my practice and the cord come out perfect. for two days I continued and was OK, and rarely could I not get it right. I went back to the G cord and that too has also become easier and almost perfect every time. Thank you Justin. Now the next struggle is the fast cord change between G and C. But I am motivated and determined to get that done, so on we go with the daily practices!

I really don't understand how the ring finger can hold onto the 5th string and mute the 6th string without touching the 4rd string. It's frustrating as hell.

Thank you VERY much. I've been having a hell of a time with the C chord. Your suggestion to angle the fingers really helps. My bloody fat fingers kept muting the adjacent string but angling the fingers is getting me closer! Once again, TYVM!!!

I am having the most trouble with this chord.  It is such a stretch for small hands with short fingers!  I was hoping there was an alternative way to play this chord. I was already tilting my fingers since there was no other way for me to reach. If you say you have never had a student not be able to play, however, I will assume that means children.  So I will keep practicing.  I have only been playing for a few weeks and my finger strength and flexibility probably aren't ideal. Thank you for your videos.

Ihave found this easier by looking at your thumb position in the video.You have it at almost pointing at the headstock which allows a bigger stretch on the third finger. Thanksu
