I've been using your method for a while, but I always become overwhelmed. I ended up building my own teleprompter using a tablet style laptop, and while it lacks some of the convenient features (like a remote- I have to manually scroll it) it still works pretty good for me. Thank you for making this video with your breakdown I might try the second method again and see how I do !

This is great info and easy to understand! Thank you! I'm working on getting more comfortable on video and would prefer not to use a teleprompter. I'm glad to hear you have to do retakes. Ha. Quick question: When you are in between scenes reading the script and such, are you still recording so you have one long file to work with or do you stop the recording and break up into a bunch of smaller files to edit?
