Thanks for taking my call today Dave! I appreciate the help and I'm going to keep working hard to earn the income for that upgrade through my business, not my personal finances!

My heart hurts for you David from New Hampshire, my husband of 34 years was killed by a drunk driver, when I say my life was turned upside down, it's an understatement, I feel your pain Stay strong you will get through this, stay close to your family and friends

David, I was made a widow in 2020 at the age of 32. I deeply feel your pain. But I can say four years on that things do get easier. You will have enjoyment again. But it takes time. Therapy will help too. The financial success you and your wife did have, you will appreciate in time. And you will carve a new future for yourself, with your wife’s memory always guiding you. I’m so so sorry for your loss. I will pray for you x

The first caller is flat out telling his step daughter she isn’t as worthy as the boys and how many times did mom say she understands her husbands point of view and is fine with it. Come on mom stand up for your daughter.

David /Manchester NH I am so sorry! One of our friends became a widow recently. Before her husband passed from cancer, he told her and their 25 year old daughter to "keep living". It has helped them in moving forward. Sending my prayers for you.

I wish there was a “debt free compilation” of people who became debt free without selling anything such as a house and are in the middle class etc… i feel like alot of us would relate. ❤

Congratulations to the debt free family 🎉 what an accomplishment and doing it together as a team. Love how they were so humble and honest with their testimony. The kiddos (one on the way) will be set for life. ❤🎉

We are debt free too!! Owe no one anything and own our home, our welding shop, all of our equipment and tools etc. etc.. My final debt was a parent plus loan that my child promised to pay back but waffled on for a lot of years. It was low on her priority list although she talked us into taking FPU in 2020. I had to decide if I would be stubborn and let that interest keep adding up, or let go of resentment about it. Letting go has given me total financial peace and spiritual peace and I'm sure I will never regret this decision to forgive a loan as the debtor did in the Bible.

To the first caller; my spouse was always treated like the step kid by stepdad. But when stepdad lay sick and dying, my spouse was the only one who came to see him, not 1 of his bio kids... stepdad cried and said he was sorry how he treated my spouse and wished he'd done things differently.

That first call broke my heart a little…how can a man be so ignorant and not see how hurtful that would be to BOTH his wife and step-daughter. Basically saying 'I will never consider her part of my family'. She should leave him and let him marry into his own bloodline.

Kinda disagree on the people moving for more money.

$13K is easy to makeup. These people have moved at least 4 times since their first kid was born.

They’re not uprooting for money. They’re uprooting and disturbing their kids lives because THEY aren’t happy and can’t stay in one place.
