My daughter bought my old house, her childhood home. It was miraculously for sale when she was looking. She has wonderful memories of her daddy there.💞

That is why I cannot stop listening Dave. IT IS JUST A STUPID 🏡 😂 and I am a Realtor. If the association finds out. 😓🤣

I love his sense of proportion. I would say the most important skill I've learned from watching him is how to value things properly by considering every aspect of them.

Imagine Dave Ramsey knocks on your door to look around your house? 😂😂

If math was the only issue the avalanche method would be way better at getting everyone out of debt.

I really like the analogy of the idea of having all the money sitting on your kitchen table, then what would you do with it. Good way to approach issues like this.

This one hit close. I own the family farm but no longer live there because work moved me an hour away. We kept because the pay raise I got allowed us to, we have it rented and it's generating income, and the thought of selling made me cry non stop because I planned on retiring there. It might be for sale in the future, but I am thankful that I have the time to make the decision instead of it being made for me.

I work in real estate, and we encounter Sellers who only want buyers that they personally approve of, who won't change the property or will do only what the current Sellers want

You sell the property, it's not yours to control anymore. If you're valuing that above the money, then you don't really want to sell. Otherwise, money talks

We had a similar experience when we went to go see my grandparents' house 30 years after my grandfather passed away. When we knocked on the door, the current owner couldn’t have been happier to let us in. It was nostalgic to me because I remember going over there regularly as a young child for special gatherings. The only thing that surprised me was that my mother, aunt, and uncles who grew up in that house looked around, scoffed little bit and then just regarded it as a "stupid house". They weren’t as nostalgic as I expected them to be. Based on what Dave said in this video, it’s probably because they’ve all had bigger, better and nicer houses since then.

My childhood home still has my heart. It was and is a great house. I just knew that I couldn't keep it.

I'm sorry but if Dave Rasmey knocked on my door I'd think I must be the most financially stupid person in America for him to make a personal visit

Glad I found the YT channel. It gets annoying to listen to radio personalities and always wonder what they look like.
