The Diversity Project's Neurodiversity Workstream is proud to present ‘How to Neurodiversity’.

Neurodiversity refers to the diversity of human brains, and considers differences of how our brains are "wired" as simply another natural variation in humans. It is often used to specifically cover autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia, amongst others. It is estimated that around 15-20% of the UK population is neurodivergent, so we all have a lot of colleagues already among us.

During the 1-hour session, Meike Bliebenicht, the DP’s neurodiversity workstream lead, will give an introduction to neurodiversity and explain how we can we access its amazing contribution to diversity of thought and remove the obstacles to successful neuroinclusion.

The webinar is targeted at anyone interested in learning more about neurodiversity, whether HR professionals, people managers or someone just interested in the topic.

The Neuro-diversity model itself is a load of rubbish: and I am speaking as someone who you would call neurodiverse.
For one thing it is not backed by proper neurological science but instead social observation of people's behaviours.
Also it is driven by Woke inclusive politics. For instance according to ND model, Tourettes is connected to Dyspraxia as is Autism. Yet ND only started as a way to look at the differences between Autism and non autistics: by sociologist Judy Singer in the late 1990s.
Sorry but ND model and ND inclusion is not scientifically backed and patronising to us with Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Autism, etc
