Im neurodivergent but i have no disorder like autism or adhd. I got diagnosed by autism but when i went to specialists, they said i had only some characteristics of autism, and neurodivergent thinking styles. Feels alone still

Does any of this sound familiar to you?

Sometimes I hear running water as music, sometimes different wavelengths of light sound different. When the never ending buzz in my head changes frequency, I feel the tingling in my body also change. It’s sort of like a feeling of something sliding out from under me. There is always something. In my world; the sound of silence is indeed “the roar of silence”

None of this bothers me, it’s just the way it’s always been.

In my youth I was surprised to discover it’s not that way for everyone. One of my elders explained it to me by saying “if from birth we hit you in the head every morning with a ball peen hammer, the day we stopped doing it; you’d think there was something wrong”

Maybe that’s what they did.

It’s an old expression “we learn to live with what we can’t rise above”

It’s like a dog living in a world of cats at times. I am truly blessed and I am relieved I’m not an NT and their NPC roles in life. My dog and I are snowed in and we really need to play some golf…thank you!

I’m bipolar. Some of my subordinates at work say I don’t understand neurodivergence. I’m the boss and i don’t want to diminish their struggles. It’s really taxing for me.

Neurodivergent people need accommodations, and neurotypical people are already biologically accommodated for me

I was born in and brought up in a foreign culture - Thailand. I'm an MK (missionary kid) and considered a third culture kid. I don't have ADHD or Autism, however, always feel very different with different thought processes. Throughout my younger years, I constantly gravitated to making friends from different countries only. Does this mean I'm neurodivergent?

How can I obtain permission to use this video on my website? I would like to have as a tool for newly diagnosed parents.

Can we stop only talking ablout developmental conditions in regard to neurodiversity. People with aqcuired neurodivergent conditions (for example ocd, ptsd, bd, bpd, aspd, did, etc) are still neurodivergent, and should be included in conversations
