I still remember when I read those last pages. When I came to that part I thought I read it wrong. I went back and read the paragraph again. Yep.. they have been off screened. A young woman and a lone wolf who found each other, fell in love and had a newborn son. Two people very dear to Harry, laid dead.

Fred's death was devastating to everyone, but I feel like Lupin's death hit Harry the hardest. Even though Sirius was his Godfather, Lupin was a very close family friend, and in a lot of ways like an Uncle. This was made crystal clear when Lupin was one of the four who appeared to Harry when he used the Resurrection Stone. It can only "bring back" those its owner loved dearly.
