The Wandering Wight in Black Myth: Wukong is most likely the first real boss you’ll face in this new Action RPG, but it is definitely much more difficult than any of the other starting bosses in this game and it feels almost like the developers put this tough boss here on purpose to make you get killed repeatedly. Now, you can fight him at the very beginning of the game, where you meet him if you are highly skilled and understand the game’s mechanics and survive, but then, likely, you’ll simply get stomped into the ground over and over again. This video will help you improve your mobility and damage to turn this fight into an easy victory.

Use the pillars around the fighting area to stun him too. When he crashes into them he will fall over.

Immobilize, bash, run away until immobilize cool down is over and repeat.
This method improved my record against this boss to 1-45.

Put all points in stamina and use light combos, they will stagger him. After three light combos he will fall down. Let your stamina regenerate until he gets up and rinse and repeat. At any point you run out of stamina use the immobilization spell and get stamina back. If you do it right he will got down easy. Good Luck!

This one gave me a headache! I wasted my time trying to defeat him for about 4 hours yesterday, and only today, after 3 hours, I finally defeated him. I yelled so much, lol.

I beat him after about 20 tries. I kept running around fighting the wolves to build up some better stats and finally squeaked a win out.

Just came here to say don’t give up y’all I was pissed but I finally beat him with the light attack falling method and freezing him and letting stamina charge repeat then fire staff special when he has low health it took me like 30 tries it’s hella satisfying keep trying and switch things up.

This big head and guangzhi were only chief but more difficult than the white wolf which was supposed to be the yuogui king.

Not much of a souls like or soulsish player, I’m 40 or 50 attempts in on this boss. What I don’t see mentioned in any video is that the boss is sometimes less aggressive. It might be due to my distance but idk. Really don’t want to skip because I was worried the actual boss would be harder. 😅

So after I killed the wandering wight….A random NPC ran up and killed me and when I respawned the soul is now gone
