Good man James, love to see the Ping 525 love. They are a great, very forgiving club….and long. I have mine 2 up and 1 weak from standard, so 31.5 degree 7 iron, longer than my old clubs at 29.5 degrees.

Anyone looking for this type of club should absolutely give the Ping 525’s a serious look.

Love that you put videos like this out there…but gutted that the irons I use Wilson D7 Forged or the newer D9 Forged version haven’t made the list.

I'm glad you mentioned the Ping i525 irons, I think they look fabulous at address, and packed with so much tech!

James I am surprised that you did not include the Mizuno 225 Pro irons in the mid to low handicap...These should fit into the 923 line with some weaker lofts...Thanks for your views...

Would you please break down exactly what high, mid-high, mid, mid-low, & low handicaps are? By the numbers.

I went to buy the TM P790 at the start of the year and walked out with Srixon ZX5, so smooth!

I love my p790’s. Have the 2019 model which are brilliant…although I am considering a switch.

Another quality video, your work ethics is incredible. I struggle to get 2 videos a week out, quality videos everyday. Respect James.

James, when is the mid to low handicap video dropping? Been waiting for weeks with anticipation as I’m close to buying.
Keep up the great work!

I am not sure if Laura is doing all of your video work now. But your video work has certainly gotten quite good.

I recently got fit into the P790. I really wanted the i525 but for me it was not nearly as forgiving as the P790 for my mishit. A close second to the P790 was the Callaway Apex 21 which were almost identical in performance but didn’t feel as nice for me. It’s definitely worth getting fit. I wish I could have tried some Takomos.

Great video James...my top five looks like this...1. jpx 923 forged # 2 pxg gen 4s #3 Wilson D9 forged #4 Cobra forged TEC #5 ping i525..the ping ...I'm a ping player but the cost is getting....and some will say that the pxg are very expensive but right now they are $179 per club if you buy 5 or more...and the 0211 irons $119 a club with 5 or more plus there gen 4 drivers $219...i myself wouldn't buy brand new but just about a year old that's some good pricing

P790 are excellent irons and very forgiving. I've played them for 2 months now about 50 rounds. Yes 50 had a 2 week holiday in there. +2 Lie 1° Strong Loft standard length way mine are fitted. Even when you don't get a good strike they go in the same area as a good strike. Might be a few yards back and to the side but still a usable stroke. I've yet to dub one, top one or have it come off the club weird. My old set it happened once in 50 to 100 strokes.

I cant believe you missed Srixon ones, either ZX5 or ZX7, these are impressive irons! Are you telling me Takomo are better ones? or even the Mizuno hot metal? And Titleis 200 or Wilson D9/7??
