What a fascinating talk. So imaginative and creative. Frightening for me to think of fierce predatory animals with human intelligence. Wow!

Thank you great job! So many thoughts! I don't think it is a good idea at least at this point in our existence. Our species lacks the integrity to act as a unifies body and the wisdom to which I believe would be needed for such a responsibility. Still to many questions to answer. For instance we continue to guess at our own versions of creation, unfortunately with conviction. If we act as gods in creating this uplift, how will we answer when our new friends begin to ponder the same question or how will we act if they might already know. I remember this being a challenge for Dr. Moreau in the film based on H.G. Well's book - The Island of Dr. Moreau.

The food chain may take on a challenge here. I can imagine there being disagreement between species in the control of growing their meat to eat. There will be a questions of who should be serving who for food as appetites grow. I can't see the carnivores becoming vegetarian without modification. Will we grow human tissue for our new carnivore friends to eat if they become aware that we are eating a form of their tissue? In times of banging drums could the war that breaks out be one where everybody just eats each other for breakfast? Oh

Another interesting question - is it possible that we found the ability to reason from surviving traumatic experiences of almost being eaten? Some think forethought was realized because someone ate a dung loving mushroom...maybe a combination?

I love this stuff!
