I know lots of people like that. Had to walk home from school because they were "just around the corner" more times than I can count lol.

This is why I'm always 10+ minutes early to events. I have no concept of time and hate being late with a passion.

When I call upstairs to my 8 year old to see if he is finished with a task, he says, “almost!” I then know he probably hasn’t started yet. 😂

Time blindness is a THING!! At least we have words to describe it.

I feel so shitty for this, I’m always that person. It was really bad the last time I went to my hometown to visit everyone and I think I overbooked myself because I wanted to see everyone and didn’t want to turn anything down

Time blindness, executive dysfunction, and ADHD paralysis are all so hard to break through, even to do something fun

Listen I operate off of CPT (look it up) so I expect those who know me to be familiar with this by now

One of my bestie is the same way. She comes to visit me for one week every summer and my other bestie and I make bets on how many days late she will be. Yes days not hours 😂. I visit her one week every winter ( she lives in a warmer climate) and I usually arrive an hour or so early. She is always surprised about that and is never ready for me to be there. Her husband and (now 16 year old ) daughter always tell her she needs to be ready for me to be early but she doesn’t listen. They also bug her about leaving to go to my house and try to get her to leave on time (ish). Or at least on the correct day 😂. We drive to each other’s houses.

It Really Is Amazing how much the Adderall helps with the Time Blindness! I had like, Zero sense of time before, but not I have a sense of time!!!

I make sure I'm early because of this issue. I have to set alarms on my phone to remind me of timing.

There's one in every family or friend group 😊 and yes, we all know who you are. There's a big difference in the ones who just can't get it together to get out the door and those who believe their time is more important than anyone else's. One gets invited more 😊

"A little bit", when I hear it, inherently means 30 minutes to 1 and 1/2 hours. Depending on who I am speaking with, lol🎉❤🎉😂😅😂

Honestly setting alarms on my phone when I make plans has saved me more times than I can count. And putting everything in my phone calendar 30 minutes before the actual time makes a big difference, we all know us ADHD peeps won't remember the correct time for whatever event so when you're "running late" you're actually on track to be on time.

It's not the rest of the worlds responsibility to accommodate our problems, we need to find ways to adapt that work for us individually

When I was little I was whipped anytime I got caught in a lie

So now as an adult I can't stand that lie, or any other. Like just tell me the truth
