Helping children with autism through AI technology

The #children with #autism would play in a really relaxed state, manipulating Andy in a way that would make them laugh. The fact that they were able to sit down and play without any judgement allowed them to have opportunities which they hadn't had before.'

#Researchers from the Institute of #Education and the University of Birmingham worked with Topcliffe Primary School in developing ECHOES, a technology-enhanced #learning environment where children can improve social and communicative skills through interacting with virtual characters and objects.
