My fathers number was 25, quite high. His doctor raised his dosage to 75 mcg. His doctor said nothing else but eat everything because of his severe weight loss. Did not mention anything else. Our mainstream doctors are out of the loop and don't know enough to give us this info. I subscribe to this ask now Disappointed w/ mainstream doctors. I get more info online and this channel.

Thank you Dr. Gupta for being straight and honest. My provider is trying to help but as you pointed out the levothyroxine doesn’t cure the disease. It hardly helps the symptoms honestly. My TSH is now clinically normal but the antibodies are still high. This is why I am just beyond frustrated. You have to fix things yourself

You forgot to mention that smoking, alcohol, stress and poor sleep have a big bad effect. Exercise, good hydration and all iodized foods also help! Thanks for your information!

I have hypothyroid symptoms but my thyroid labs are normal except for Thyroglobulin Antibodies are over 200. Doctor says I don't have a thyroid issue but I feel terrible! I'm already gluten free; will follow these other great suggestions. Thank you!

Great video! Do you suggest that people go completely off of gluten and dairy forever, or just go off of them initially for an extended time and then introduce some occasional consumption of organic sources of these foods?

Is there any knowledge as to what triggers autoimmune?
I became diagnosed with Hashimoto's after the death of my mom. She had a long, difficult and very painful death. Losing mom took a toll on the whole family, especially me. As her 'baby', the youngest of 4, we wer extremely close and I have no children of my own.
The stress became unbearable. About a year after, I had sudden onset of Tinnitus. A non-stop high pitch noise that still persists today.
Hashimoto's Thyroiditis was discovered from blood work for the Tinnitus examination.
I was borderline and now, 4 years later, I have increasingly Hashimoto's.
I've wondered if the stress and emotional trauma may have triggered it.
I THANK YOU SO much for sharing this information. You surely have a big ❤
to want to help those of us suffering.
