Klenow fragment is a large protein fragment derived from DNA pol I of E. Coli. 5'-3' Exonuclease activity of the DNA polymerse I is problematic activity which is removed in the Klenow fragment. This removal of the 5'-3' exonuclease activity makes Klenow fragment a good choice for many commercial uses.
