Klenow Fragment

Показать описание
Klenow Fragment lecture - The Klenow fragment is a large protein fragment produced when DNA polymerase I from E. Coli is enzymatically cleaved with the aid of the protease subtilisin. First stated in 1970, it retains the 5' → 3' polymerase exercise and the three’ → 5’ exonuclease exercise for removal of precoding nucleotides and proofreading, but loses its 5' → 3' exonuclease activity.
This video lecture will teach you the structure of Klenow fragment and the use of klenow fragments in molecular biology experiments.
