China really doesn't care who wins, either is no big difference. China has to seek alternatives for trade and prepare for US sactions on tech and finance.

In his first term, China didn't like Trump, but they LOVED Trump. The trade wars and rhetoric got tiresome, but the diplomatic wins were enormous. Trump's blanket elimination of many foreign programs left voids that Beijing was overjoyed to fill and his erratic behavior created the narrative of the US as an unreliable partner that resonated with all but America's staunchest allies. Expect a new Trump administration to embolden China again, as it will go full "wolf warrior" again.

Both will be tough on China when it comes to geopolitics and military policy, but when it comes to the global economy and global markets, Harris is far better than Trump for China. Trump’s tariff policy will not only cause mass hyperinflation here in the united states domestically, but also hurt foreign economies like china who export lots of products to the United States which benefits their economy as well as ours.
