Today we visited one of the best museums we've ever been to and we highly recommend visiting whilst in Gdańsk - The Museum of Second World War.
Pro Tip: FREE entry on Tuesdays!

We have also managed to try one of the most popular dishes in Poland - PIEROGI. It was our first time trying these finger lickin dumplings and if you want to try the best PIEROGI whilst in Gdańsk - check out Mandu restaurant!

Cheers to more adventures in Poland!

Hi, i live in Poland (sorry but i don’t really know english) my favourite pierogi are with cabbage and mushrooms but i like this with strawberries or berries too, and you should tray a bigos and żurek 😉

That looks like a savory comfort food to try. And the price is reasonable too. Maybe pair it with a bowl of warm beetroot soup and life is good. Really enjoyed watching this video. Thanks ladies! 👋😉

And now focus, because the name is a bit tricky

As you mentioned the most traditional Polish dumplings with cottage cheese and potatoes, they are called "Russian dumplings"- "Ruskie pierogi".
But as you can guess it has nothing to do with Russia.
The term "Russian", "Ruthenian" means that they come from the areas of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
And to make it even more fun, in these areas (former territories of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania) the same dish is said to be called "Polish dumplings".
But I'm not sure, you're the Lithuanian after all.
What you showed as Lithuanian pork dumplings, in Poland is called Lithuanian name "kołduny"

You must gry Polish Craft beers. In the 3city we have Brodacz Brewery, Alebrowar Brewery. You must try beers from them. Greetengs

I am not sure if “pierogi Ruskie” are traditional. I would say pierogi z kapusta i grzybami. We eat sweet dumplings during the summer time with starwbarries or with bluberries

always thought that most popular/ traditional pierogis are stuffed with sauerkraut, mushrooms, ground beef/ bacon nibs and on summer time stuffed with strawberries with sour cream I never tried pierogis with chicken, carrots or chocolate before...

Justina is a polish name. Where is she from ? I'm so curious becouse her pronunciation is much better than her friend - Micha. Seems like she is from central Europe.

Stop it! You're making me hungry. Now I need to go down to the corner shop and get some polish pierogi.

Unfortunately, it's closed. 01:17 am. 😩
