My professor admitted to a friend of mine he doesnt prepare for lectures he just reads the book an hour before class. It is obvious. I feel I have learned more in these videos than I have in 2 months in his class Thank you

I've always wanted to take complex analysis. Never had the chance. At least I get to have a good glimpse of its dealings. Your efforts are very much appreciated. Thank you!

I've been using these lectures as a palate cleanser between trying to read Hegel. They're a welcome relief.

Could you do a dedicated videos on book recommendations and/or books that inspired you on various topics in Mathematics?

As an engineer I want to take c3 to infinity. In which case the two poles are now so close together we can write them as (z-a)^2. This is analytic so from Cauchy -Riemann we know the integral is zero. Is this in any way mathematically ok to do?

Hallo professor Steve, my question is what the difference between a contour and a curve??? I mean if im doin ( complex ) Integration along a path/curve anad doing a Integration along a contour, do these two are same in any manner, that's my question. And thatnk you for giving us a wonderful lecture series.

I am confused. In some videos they are calling the roots of denominator pole and the residue doesnt have a pi

So why was this video listed as "New upload"? I've watched this months ago and there was no new segments. :-?
