As an engineer I want to take c3 to infinity. In which case the two poles are now so close together we can write them as (z-a)^2. This is analytic so from Cauchy -Riemann we know the integral is zero. Is this in any way mathematically ok to do?

Hallo professor Steve, my question is what the difference between a contour and a curve??? I mean if im doin ( complex ) Integration along a path/curve anad doing a Integration along a contour, do these two are same in any manner, that's my question. And thatnk you for giving us a wonderful lecture series.
