It should have been decriminalized! Alcohol is not a scheduled drug and we have all lost friends to alcohol related incidents but I’ve never lost or heard of anyone to Cannabis.

MN legalized it and I'm loving it. It is stronger than when I was a kid but after a few months you get used to it. I only do a few hits myself so you use less overall. I don't smoke a whole joint by myself. It is wonderful like on a Saturday morning to do a few one hits and drink coffee out on my deck.

Rescheduling itself wont' really change anything. Under federal law a lower schedule controlled substance is still illegal to manufacture, sell or possess except in very narrow medical circumstances.

Hopefully, no more incarceration of people just because they possess a small amount of cannabis and have their life destroyed. Many people were jailed for a long time just like that in the last 50 years.
