I asked this question before. As a CDL driver I can just go buy alcohol on my own time and chug. But I can take a hit of a joint. Just wondering if I can get a prescription for my back issue will I still get reprimanded for smoking?

What about the people that are on federal probation? Will it be legal for them to smoke medical marijuana. Can you please make a video about this?

It can happen a lil sooner. It’s open for 60 day comment but 30 days for someone (ie government agency) to petition to end the comment period sooner.

Thanks, glad you were able to sum that up quick and concise. 😊

The only video I've seen yet to explain clearly

You have mentioned many times in multiple videos that the FMCSA/DOT will continue to test for marijuana even if it is rescheduled to 3. Aren't these federal agencies mandated to comply with the HHS guidelines for drug testing in federal agencies?

The current HHS guidelines for federal workplace drug testing only include schedule 1 and schedule 2 drugs.

Do you believe that the HHS will revise their guidelines and include a single schedule 3 drug (marijuana) to be tested for?

How do you add input? I want third party testing across the board for heavy metals and mycotoxins.

You Rock, Doc! Thanks for the update. I'd like to start driving truck again. The sooner the better.

Thoughts on there being an ALJ hearing? Kinda convenient that the last day of the DNC is the 22nd.. aka one month after the comment period close 👀 could see the Kamala campaign wanting this pretty much wrapped up with a bow on it around the date of the debate.. which is sep. 10 I believe

So does that mean by August/September it’ll be officially a policy?

This is off subject, but I see no other place where discussions like this are happening. Does anyone know how this might affect firearms purchases? Ironically, (since it's mostly republicans who are against cannabis legalization), it's mainly republicans who are the reason I currently cannot purchase a firearm in Florida, (where I have a medical cannabis card.) I'm also nervous about carrying even though we now no longer need a permit to carry concealed.

Or a more general question, would the effect of this rescheduling be that if you are using cannabis as a prescribed medicine, at the federal level you would not be doing anything illegal? If that's the case then I would think that this would affect gun purchases also.

Anyway I submitted my public comment in support of rescheduling. I hear nearly 70% of public comments were favorable for rescheduling or "de-scheduling" altogether. I'm actually kind of disappointed there are still enough "Reefer Madness" fools out there to comprise 30% of the comments. Sometimes, at some point, people just aren't entitled to have certain opinions respected.

Hey Doc, got a question: Does this move mean that drivers can legally have a prescription for medical MJ and can still drive a truck? I cant seem to find the answer anywhere, including your videos, though i could have missed it.
