Using the phrase ''dialing down the rhetoric'', as a form of rhetoric is frustrating.

Farmers are going broke now, no need for studies, get that carbon tax rebate on drying fuel out now.Crops will spoil in days not weeks or months. Imagine if your average taxpayer got a carbon tax bill for 10 times their so called rebate.

Simple answer Trudeau doesn't care about provinces that don't start with the letter Q. CBC still hard at work for Trudeau.

Thank you Scott Moe!
Distinct Regional Society = Alberta Saskatchewan
Time for EQUITABLE changes.
Prayers for ALL of Can🇨🇦ada
Saskatchewan Alberta folks ...
did what you got back on carbon tax rebate prove equal to what you are paying out in agriculture, steel, energy resource costs of the tax
on everything you pay
as well as .. day to day home heating bills etc???
Where did the carbon tax money go? Which climate? What climate issues did the tax fix?

How can Vassy, with a straight face, state that a carbon tax is good for Canadians? Please tell me how more taxation on the middle class is a sound policy for economic and personal growth?!

What an awesome video! Great back and forth; great questions that held elected officials to account. I love seeing my province's challenges brought to the federal arena. Great work to Vassy and her CBC team; awesome discussions. This is what doing news right looks like!

Quebec should separate, not Alberta. We all would be so much better off!!!

Scott Moe you held your own this was a very persecuting interview, lots of disrespect to your place and voice . Keep strong and don’t be bullied . If we can’t be met and heard it will be very hard for the rest of Provinces to receive the equalization payments .

Canada used to be great. But now I kinda want to move out of Canada

Leaving Canada isn’t the answer for the resource based provinces. The answer would be voting for political parties that would build economic diversity. The decline of the oil and gas industry isn’t a federal creation. The planet is changing especially for the demand for Tar Sand oil. This would be a good time for these provinces to work with the federal government on building economic diversity. Wanting to leave because the future change threatens the past ways doesn’t make sense.
