Every school year hundreds of our kids lose their life to gun violence and school authorities are worried about what shoes a kid is wearing. Seriously? Any foot, in any shoe can get caught on anything real and imagined. We’ve all tripped over nothing at least once in our lives. The “medic” giving her opinion needs her medical competence evaluated.

Some schools are full of power hungry adults.

They are walking down a hallway! We are not wearing them during PE. What is the problem? Teach the children, let their parents worry about their feet.

Crocs are terrible shoes, but grounding your child from electronics for 2 weeks for wearing shoes that you bought her multiple pairs of is just bad parenting. The cellphone and computer had no factor in this situation and shouldn't be part of the discipline. Kids learn better through natural consequences.
