Dream - Play Professional. Solution: Sacrifice everything from age 5-16 to get there by leaving your family and going to the top academies.
Reality - If you haven't sacrificed everything at a young age to pursue this your chances of making it are close to zero. Why? You are competing against players all over the world who did sacrifice everything.

The real dream is to have a balanced life, living a purpose that matters. Even professional players don't like training 5x a week and playing 3x a week. Pressure is on to perform every game and injuries/fatigue are real. I'm not saying don't go for your dreams, just realize that some occupations start at a younger age. You can become a billionaire and start at age 55 no problem. Soccer is not one of them as a player, coach and referee is another thing.
