Dragon Ball Super: Why Doesn't Goku Use Kaioken Against Black And Zamasu?

Goku Fought against hit in the Dragon Ball Super Anime using Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken, we haven't seen it since. Why hasn't Goku fought Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black And Zamasu with this technique? Will he ever? I try to answer that in this video!

Goku doesn't use Kaioken x10 because he fears becoming a cripple, or handicapped. Just as king Kai told him. Remember, he can double it but shouldn't go any higher

For starters, the manga is STRICTLY promotional. And as for Goku not using SSBKK is because he stated that it wasn't perfected. And it also left him vulnerable for about 2 days because it messed with his Ki.

I doubt Goku has tried Kaioken since the tounament, so it's not any better perfected then before. It also took Goku about a minute or two of uninterrupted concentration to achieve it. There's no way he would have to time to do it in that fight. If Vegeta didn't get stabbed and could buy some time with Trunks, then perhaps.

I completely understand people who say power scaling is broken. And I also hate how did they make ssj blue/god so "weak", I mean in the manga Goku ssj blue would destroy Hit, but in anime Goku ssj blue + kaioken TIMES 10 was almost beaten (by non god character).

Also in episode 57 Trunks was able to fight with same oponments as Goku (ssj blue), and the worst thing about it is that this makes Battle Of Gods arc/movie almost meaningless, they said that god power is something that you can't reach with normal training, and that was really meaningfull for Dragon Ball, at least for me, but now Trunks who is on "Buu saga characters" in power level can fight with gods =/

And people are trying to make theories and explain others about power scaling and they (Toei) gave us this...uf

Since they (Goku, Vegeta, Trunks) lost in this fight we can take it, but if Trunks beats Black without any new explanation/god training, I will really be pissed...

What if at the end of the arc Goku and Vegeta have to kill the god of destruction from universe 10, because Zamasu is immortal

Couple of reasons:
1. The ki disorder he had after he used Kaioken in SSB almost led to losing all his ki. He can't control it yet.
2. The manga is being used over the anime since the manga did not use Kaioken.
3. A regular Kaioken would be enough to beat SSR Black, since it would be 2x SSB. However, he needed time to focus to use Kaioken so he doesn't mess up and he just didn't have that time. In the tournament, Hit waited but Black isn't an opponent to watch and wait.

My two cents: As Goku Black absorbed damage from fighting Goku, at the same time Goku's stolen body assimilated the experience. So it was very risky to show such formidable technique which would've made impossible to overcome an already formidable opponent. Vegeta understood this, telling Goku to step aside in the fight previous to their fusion.

The reason why Super Saiyan Firecracker® - Popsicle wasn't used was because they needed Goku to do something awesome in the tournament so it wasn't a complete waste of everyone's time. And also cause' merchandising.

I feel like the original manuscript said something along the lines of "Goku falls back on an old technique" against Hit. Toei took it as the kaio Ken and the Manga took it as ssj god

are people really forgetting that goku black has the potential to copy and learn every technique goku has? if goku black learns kaioken then they'd be screwed.

with his constant power up technique that makes goku black significantly stronger over time he would probably be able to withstand kaioken times 10 easily.

I mean they need to somehow get a massive power boost to even compete against Black now.

It could be that Goku Black can do it too since he could go Super Saiyan instantly

he doesn't know if he can defeat them quickly with it, especially now that zamasu is immortal, so when he destroys his body, they will be even worse off

What I'm curious about is why Goku doesn't integrate god ki while being a SSJ2? He was spamming that transformation previously (previous fight with Trunks, Black and then Zamasu).

Goku did use Kaioken for a moment against Fused Zamasu

But the reason why he didn’t use it to combat Black’s increasing power is because he’s still perfecting Kaioken

Last he used it in Universe 6 and 7 Tournament, it left him hurt and not to mention having a Ki disorder after which he can’t control his energy properly for a while

He was saving it for absolute last resort as Kaioken Blue would do more harm than good

It wasn’t until the Tournament Of Power he was able to master using it more freely

After what happened after the first time that he used it and the warning that he got that if he ever tried something like that again he could loss his ability to control his ki permanently, there is no way that he would ever use it again. The risks are far too high as Goku might never be able to fight again and so even if it is an situation where he faces death he won't use it as long as there is an alternative. Goku probably thought that he could win in his fight against Black without it.
