Fun fact: Microwave ovens were invented to thaw hamster that were cryogenically frozen. (Like where they freeze you and bring you back to life). It doesn’t work on anything bigger than a hamster because you’ll start to cook before you’re all the way thawed. Tom Scott made a good video on it.
