OMG Valentina you are my kind of girl, on Oct 31, I close all my curtains, dim the outside lights (we never get trick or treaters) then its on!!! The Christmas trees are up! I love it, my family knows I dont want any discussions of any kind until i finish decorating for Christmas, I get so excited, especially this year, we have 4 great grand daughters so i know it will be so awesome just watching them see the lights on tree rurn on, then all the gifts!!

Thank you for the reminder! After only having a small a tabletop tree for a few years, late season last year we bought a 9 foot flocked evergreen with warm LED lights and then bought beautiful ornaments for it. We had it up for Christmas and a week or two after so this year I want it up all month for December but maybe I'll just put it up in November after daylight savings time to enjoy it in it's natural state. Honestly, we treat it like a pet. Although, now we want to celebrate Christ in our heart and decided to celebrate Christmas with all the joy we can muster.

I always make my own paper... I usually start in the Summer, and make it a project with the Grands! I also use natural things found in nature, berries, live greens, pinecones etc.
