Kamala Harris sets out economic plan ahead of US election | BBC News

Kamala Harris has called for millions of new-build homes and first-time buyer help, tax breaks for families and a ban on grocery "price-gouging" as she set out her economic policies.

The Democratic presidential nominee's plans build on ideas from the Biden administration and aim at addressing voter concerns after a surge in prices since 2021.

Many of the proposals would require action from Congress, where similar ideas have stalled in the past.

Donald Trump said the vice-president had already had more than three years with the administration to deliver her promises.

In the US there are 3-4 major agricultural meat conglomerates which completely control Big Beef & Big Chicken. Meaning that one, widespread bird flu outbreak has had the ability to skyrocket the price of eggs for YEARS because this gives wide & plausible leverage to the other 2 UNAFFECTED egg supplies to ridiculously raise their egg prices, indefinitely (as we are currently experiencing even though the last recent bird flu outbreak happened winter of '21-'22)

The ONLY FIX for this is breaking up these 'big meat' mergers into smaller, independently owned regional firms AS WELL AS HOLDING THE (unaffected) SUPPLIERS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR SYSTEMATIC PRICE GOUGING

Which is exactly what Harris has set forth in her announced POTUS policies

And is also, alternatively something that is anathema to the entire core soul of the GOP, especially Donald Trump because it is ofcourse wifely labeled as another example of the "DEMOCRAT Party's full throated embrace of Authoritarian COMMUNISM"
