Recirculation Flap Motor fixed without replacing! #VW #MK7

Here i will show you how to repair (temporarly)recirculation flap motor on VW Golf 7 .

In my case, when I took the cover off, the gears had fallen out, and it took some effort to get them back in place, but it seems to be working again. This helped a lot, thank you.

It worked perfect on my Golf. The white wheel was completely out and dropped when I opened the cover mat. Placed it back and voila! Thanks . Saved who knows how much!

Thanks, this helped me in solving the left and right, hot and cold issue. More than 6 months ago I found the gear falling in the foot area and wondered where it came from. Didnt notice anything was wrong until it became winter 😂

My 2017 Sharan has the front vents(driver and passenger), I have noticed that they don't give out any heat ( front no heat air even i turn to 26 degree, it is cold air) and the heating is only done from the rear of the car. It does blow cold air though during winter. Do you think what problem? Thanks

I disessembled the cover and the gear was laying there loose. I just popped the gear into place.

I have an audi Q5 and i can smell all the fumes coming from the outside, i closed the flap but still smells, it just started today.. could it be the same flap as this video ?

Ps: The fumes come in though the ac vents..
