Can you regrow beets from kitchen scraps?

Have you ever tried to regrowing beets from kitchen scraps? In this experiment video, I am going to show you if it's possible to regrow beetroot at home from the top part. I used water for regrowing beets. Great gardening vegetable regrowing hacks idea.

You are not regrowing beets from bett cuts, you are regrowing beet greens to use in soup or salads from beet tops. Huge difference.
You can't regrow beets from beet cuts.

But this is only the beet greens not the whole beet. Is it possible to regrow the whole beet from the kitchen scraps?

Hi. I had 2 of these and put them in a shallow dish 1cm of water, no paper towel. 4 days in, they have baby leaves & 2” long white roots!

Where do I go from here? Should I plant them in soil in a small planter?
