Milage is stored in ECU, dashboard, body, key, and everything you can change, however, you can't change milage for last DPF regeneration, or the number of DPF regenerations, so that could be a good indicator of what is real milage.

Pointless wasting your money to buy said machine. Its just a scan tool.
If the mileage has been tampered with, it would be through the ecu, so both figures will be matching.
