What’s the significance of the pentagram in magic and the occult? How does the five pointed star relate to earth and the afterlife? Note the connection between 5 in numerology which symbolizes change/adaptability and the devil card which typically indicates a necessary reassessment. Blown away by the Saturn glyph and number 5 correspondence. And thank you for including the portion about the fifth sun!

Your mountain top analogy also made me think that being in the middle is a very fragile place to be. Kinda like democracy. Devolving into fascism, etc. relies on staking your bets on a specific ideology. Democracy requires constant open-mindedness, free speech, exchange of ideas, etc. That's why it could be a struggle as well – because remaining open to the world, being in a labile (opposite of stable) position requires constant growth, constant alertness (and is really the key to happiness, in my opinion), which is a form of struggle.

This was a very illuminating video. I became interested in the pentagram when I became obsessed with the movie "Blood of a Poet" by Jean Cocteau. He used to sign his name with a little pentagram underneath. I couldn't really find any info on why, but the symbol features prominently in the movie, so I thought a little background might help me understand it better.

Loved this! Thank you! I had a couple of random thoughts: Seeing Hebrew 5 (ה) reminded me of Stonehenge. There are 5 trilithons (1 trilithon is a set of horizontal lintel stone with 2 vertical support stones) in the inner circle. Also, in Japanese language, the hiragana ちis pronounced "chi" (sounds like "chee"). ち also looks like the astrological sign for Saturn. You can overlay a number 5 over the character ち. The origin of that hiragana is the character 知 (also pronounced "chi") and that means "knowledge". The thing is "chi" also reminds me of chakras. The number 5 in Japanese and Chinese is written 五 and you can also overlay a 5 over that character. All this stuff might not amount to much, but it is interesting to me. It's the rib, the 5 sided ribos molecule that was taken from Adam. A 6 sided one (phosphate), was added while he was in a deep sleep to create eve and bam, you've got husbandry and procreation right off the bat.
