Eloy (born January 29, 1991 in Santo André) is a Brazilian drummer, best known as the current drummer of Brazilian thrash metal act Sepultura. Eloy began playing at age 7, when he got a toy drum from his mother, after a year he got a real drum kit. In 2004, at age 13, he was the big winner of the Batuka International Drummer Fest, sponsored by Vera Figueiredo. Later Eloy also won Modern Drummer's Undiscovered Drummer Contest 2006 in New Jersey, and the following year, toured the United States. He's always traveling around the world showing his art.

O que o Eloy faz na caixa é de quebrar o cérebro no meio. E pensar que quando vou programar minhas "musiquinhas" por DAW tenho medo de mexer muito com a dinâmica da caixa, temendo deixar o som muito irrealista kkkk mas mesmo se eu quisesse, não conseguiria fazer no mouse o que esse maluco faz braço com esta variação de amplitude tão precisa, e principalmente, coesa com o restante do contexto.

Acabei de sair do show do Sepultura em São Paulo. Quando tocaram Pentagram eu fiquei em choque. Que performance do Eloy, mal consegui prestar atenção nos outros instrumentos. Grande baterista!
