In reality, the corporation decided to separate into two companies in order to better focus on each of its respective industries, yet despite this, none of those sectors had a negligibly low chance of going bankrupt. The likelihood of HP Inc. filing for bankruptcy is 38%, while the likelihood of HP Enterprise filing for bankruptcy is 44%. So how could such a huge object fall so quickly? Indeed, the commoditization of PCs has a lot to do with HP's decline.
