I've had mine for 5 months and I do get around 26 MPG but I drive it in Eco Mode mostly and there's a lot of coasting...

I know it's comparing apple with orange but a 2015 Mazda 5, a mini minivan with 3row seats and 1/4 of price used gets 27mpg consistently. I can use less technology and maintenance / repair down the road by sacrificing some horse power and luxury.

Did you not mind that you couldn't turn off the doors locking automatically when the car starts to move? Did you not mind that you couldn't permanently turn off the auto-start/stop function? Did you not mind lacking physical buttons for climate controls? Did you not mind the drive-mode roller button (which I find finicky, often slipping, and which ought to be on the steering wheel)? Did you have no troubles with the capless gas filler? Did you like the instrument panel? Did this have a spare wheel/tire?

Could you elaborate on the inconsistent engine performance? Also, heated seats and steering wheel in Southern California? It's November and you are wearing a t-shirt.

The MPG not being consisten with the EPA rating is disappointing.
