This might be the first time I followed a video for instructions and my experience went exactly like the video. Nice. Kind of happy about it.

Thank you so much for creating these video tutorials! I've just clean installed macOS Monterey 12.0.1 on M1 and one of your previous video helped me with the process.

I was worried that I will have to go through DFU mode if I erase the whole drive, but luckily the process seem to have been simplified in the newer installers and your video showed me that

Thank you! Its really helpful to have the direct link to the pkg installer, every time I try dwnloading through the native software update or appstore I eventually get disconnected from the server and sometimes I'll lose multiple gigs of the download when I have to restart it.

Thank you.
I remember doing this with Big Sur a month ago from a different source, and it was not at simple as you made it. My goal is to make a bootable USB for all the macOS (from Catalina up)

Hey Mr. Macintosh, I upgraded to Monterey today with no problems. Thankfully the Big Sur, and today, Monterey Upgrades went perfectly, so I haven't had to use USB installers, or clean install.
So far, everything is smooth sailing, the ONLY bug I have found is the one from Big Sur where blu-ray discs do NOT have an icon in finder. This is strictly cosmetic though, and everything still works right. It's probably a simple fix though, and I am somewhat disappointed Apple hasn't fixed it yet. Either way, the overall experience has been a positive one. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you. FYI: I am running Monterey on a late 2015, 27" iMac with 32 GB RAM, 2TB Fusion drive, and it's running perfectly. Very responsive and stable. (Reporting after a few hours of use.)

I did everything as suggested. When I tried then to launch the USB installer it would just indefinitely bounce in my dock. Disk Utility would then fail when I tried to wipe the USB thumb drive again. So I repeated the process without first wiping the drive and when done I say the same indefinitely app dock bounce situation. So I rebooted into recovery mode and wiped by Big Sur internal SSD clean and installed by booting into the USB stick Monterey and finally it installed over the next hour.
