Those are nighttime pads. They are thick so they can collect more blood over a long period of time, And they are long so when your sleeping your pad is long enough to collect the blood coming out in a weird position

I don't get it. Even if you don't have much of a flow, why the heck would you cut it when it can secure you from leaking? The inside will fall off and it's gonna get messy. I know it's supposed to be a joke, but she just wasted a good pad.
