The recent annual meeting of Jehovah’s Witnesses brought unexpected news with the appointment of two new Governing Body members, Jody Jedele and Jacob Rumph. While many speculated about doctrinal changes, the focus quickly shifted to this controversial decision. In this video, we dive into why their appointments have raised concerns: the bypassing of long-serving helpers, the redefinition of the 144,000 doctrine, and the looming replacement of aging members like Gerrit Lösch and Stephen Lett. Are these changes part of a power shift within the leadership? Is the organization's future now in the hands of less experienced individuals? Watch for an in-depth analysis of the implications behind these appointments.

So, Jehovah has managed to use imperfect humans to vindicate his name since the beginning, which came about through our choice to oppose our maker’s rulership. Yet, He has told us all, they will not be able to fully complete the task of loyalty while in this system, Not in the Hebrew times, 1st century, or J.W. today because of imperfection as he stated many times, do all these imperfect humans 'which he had no choice in using'... invalidate his existence, or purpose for you more imperfect ones.. to judge... to bitch about so much? are you all like the Catholics, and C.E, Hindus whatever. Just believers in a religion of men, more than God himself?

5:44 Watchtower is a business. It should not be shocking that GB act like executive boards in companies. They pick new members not based on seniority but based on talent and how well they know them. Nothing personal. It is just business. The guy with real estate experience is especially valuable.

Samuel Herd said he wanted to retire from the GB when he turned 80 years old. The other GB members said as long as he still had his senses, they wanted him to stay. Sam Herd is going to turn 90 next year - he was born in 1935 - and is probably going to retire soon, whether the other members like it or not.
Jedele is 54 years old. Rumph is 47. Watchtower used to teach that anyone baptized before 1935 was of the Anointed, anyone baptized after 1935 was of the Great Crowd. Every single member of the current GB was BORN after 1935 (except Herd, who was born that year), let alone BAPTIZED. How is that possible? Could they be the “false prophets” Jesus said would arise at Matthew 24:24, or the “false teachers” the Apostle Peter said would be in the congregation, at 2 Peter 2:1?

GB chooses new members who have higher education ? But still no higher education allowed for all others. What a double talk

The Governing Body's Henry Ford-style working rule: "You can have any color of Governing Body member you want, as long as it's white".

The first Gen X GB member, I can't believe that a self proclaimed anointed made the GB after less than 5 years at Bethel?

Are all the governing body American citizens? Or did they have to pledge allegiance to the flag to get their green card. Just wondering.

We know the organisation is really a business and they are moving up ones who are more experienced in running a business. These ones have probably been part of running this business behind the scenes anyway.

10:45 There are GB members from Australia and Europe. What gets me is that there are none from Asia (with many hardcore JW there) nor Africa (excellent growth and lots of hardcore JW who stand by Watchtower even in the face of deletion.) The recent new ones comes from America where Watchtower has poor growth rate and poor engagement. Doing this is how they get people like Ray Franz and Anthony Morris.

i had my questions regarding tweed l y dee and tweed l y dum when m o r r i s was removed. to me that was a corporate move to get m o r r i s out. some of the members are aging, yes. and this might have been a factor in elevating these two. however, i agree that passing over so many who have been prominent in j w broadcasting, does raise a number of questions, and is quite suspicious. there are cliques in every congregation i have attended, 14 in all, and from what i could observe, compatibility and loyalty are prerequisites for elder membership. this becomes quite evident when judicial decisions are appealed. was loyalty a question for those who were passed over? were these new members known for being anointed during their service? did they partake of the emblems? if so, then why were they not appointed as helpers? this question could also be raised for the 2 previous appointees. from video clips i have viewed from those once part of bethel service, i don't recall any mentioning that a flurry of anointed members aside from the governing body were a part of the work force. and yes, why wasn't a member from another part of the world selected? did the helpers passed over object to the removal of a m? so many questions that can't be questioned without consequence. 'trust us' is all they have to say.

These two new members are to me just 'pawns' or 'mouthpieces of the organisation.
I'm wondering: who REALLY is in charge at Watchtower???

This could definitely signal a downer that these faithful youngster are considered “better” than older anointed Christians as if they were less faithful signaling younger is better. Can this pass the filter of end of times? I mean, new generation of leaders means that the end might not be that close in their view and it is such a double standard for the young JWs. I think this will awake some
