Working on a school project and I'm new to Tkinter so this was very helpful. It was a basic and easy introduction that instructed me in how to make a simple functioning program to get the gist of how Tkinter can be implemented.

If you are using python 2.7 just capitalize the "t" in "Tkinter" so the line would be

from Tkinter import *

There is another issue in the "messagebox" tutorial and the "Images and Icons" tutorial but I left a comments there too help you through it. :)

If I may...what is it that you still do not know as yet? You seem to grasp the gist/core and nitty-gritties that very fast -- simply amazing talent that you have! You are absolutely AWESOME! I just watched another video, someone talked about why he loved teaching beginners and I just had a moment where my heart kinda melted and I imagined myself teaching kids at the age that I watched your videos and now I stumbled upon one of your videos after such a long time and its just awesome to see that nothing has changed, from your additude, the way you teach it, and what you teach, just how you teach makes people comfortable and makes them realise that whatever they set out to make or do is possible! Kinda felt bad watching your videos back then because of the advantage I got, felt like cheating...

AWESOME! I was going through these tutorials last night, and I actually started to ask myself when you would get to GUI's :) Guess this answers that question. Can't wait, currently on 21 of the last Python series as we speak.

I always thought of pronouncing Tkinter like "Tinker"
