President Biden is calling on Congress to reinstate the ban on military-style guns, following a string of major mass shootings in the U.S., including recent tragedies in Virginia and Colorado. Former Representative Donna Edwards (D), NBC News Senior White House Correspondent Kelly O’Donnell, Editor-at-large at The Bulwark Charlie Sykes, and former U.S. attorney Harry Litman join Chris Jansing to discuss. “Even though this is a lost cause for the Biden administration and for gun control advocates, I think that this is a lost cause worth pursuing,” says Edwards. “Otherwise, the world is going to look at the United States and wonder, why are we so indifferent, why are we numbed, why are we unable to do the kinds of things that virtually every other civilized country on the planet has done?”

If guns are so bad, take the assault rifles from the secret service that guard you.

*If your government asks you to give up your rights, It means you really need to buy a gun in case.*

The fact that a US President uses the word " Allow " to the Free People of the US... is sickening... The Thirteenth Amendment ended the days of your kind to decide on how another person lives...

I hate to see people who know absolutely nothing about guns making new gun laws.

The right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed. Any law that prevents that is tyranny

Get rid of criminals first. Go after them. Leave the law abiding citizens alone.

Fun Fact: Gun sales continue on a record pace in 2022 with expected gun sales to exceed 12 million new guns for 2022. Most popular sales include primarily semi automatic handguns and AR style rifles. 13 Million sold in 2021. The record pace continues.

Why do politicians, famous people and rich people need people with guns to protect them but they make schools gun free zones? Couldn't politicians just make a law that it is illegal to use a gun against politicians and rich people?

You need 2/3 of congress and 2/3 of states to ban our guns or to change or repeal the 2nd amendment). All other laws really bump up against the “shall not be infringed” part of the. 2nd. Back away from my freedoms.

Here is the cold 🥶 hard truth.
(1) There are over 600, 000, 000 registered firearms in the US, not counting unregistered and illegal firearms.
(2) Banning or confiscating all firearms is impossible due to lack of resources, especially manpower.
(3) Attempting to confiscate all firearms will only lead to tragic outcomes; violence, mayhem, chaos, anarchy, and death.

How does he get rid of assault weapons if he doesn’t know what an assault weapon is.

You already can't get assault weapons without getting a class iii license and spending $30k on a pre 1986 manufactured one. Don't they know that assault weapons are already banned?

The 2A applies to anti-gunners as well.

The problem is not guns. The problem is that we are teaching kids in school that life is not precious, you’re feelings are most important, so do what you want. 1775-1980s there were practically zero mass shootings. People’s hearts have changed and they no longer love God or other people.

I just heard Juan Williams ask the question, "Did our Founding Fathers really intend for the citezins to have weapons intended for war"?
Yes Juan, they did! The Americans had just fought a war to free themselves from a tyrannical government and they intended for the citizens to have the right to protect those newly found freedoms. That is the purpose of the second amendment, not duck hunting.

If our right to bear arms in this country can be taken from us then so can any other right we have such as freedom ⛓️

Lol it's impossible. The Supreme Court ruled Marbury vs Madison: Any law Repugnant to the Constitution is null and void. Nobody has to comply with Unconstitutional laws.
